Super low key restaurant with very good food and an amazing spectrum of alcoholic beverages. I was here for a special tap takeover and all of the drafts I had were excellent. All styles of beer were delicious and the mixed drinks look good though I didn't order any. All of the food was very good and came out quick. We had the short and sprout pizza, bacon cheese fries, and chicken nachos with guacamole. I would happily order all of those again.

Frekkin LOVE this place! Favorite bar in the city, seriously. Baby Atlas downstairs ooof, that's where it's at. People are always dancing. Staff is always great and attentive, DJ's will even play your request, well that happened once but still, never had a bad experience. NYE here was also a blast, swanky and super fun. No one ever lost their patience with us rowdy/sloshed partiers.

Hosted a birthday party in the 'back bar' section, and it was great! We were able to control the music, bring a bday dessert, and create custom cocktails! We just submitted the ingredients we wanted in our signature drInks, and all the bartenders knew how to make them when we arrived. They even had little print out menus of our drinks and displayed them on tvs...

Matilda is my favorite bar/watering hole/gastropub/etc. in this great city that has so many options to pick from. It features a great selection of microbrews, wines and spirits, and a variety of tasty menu options. But one of it's greatest attributes is the amazing staff and ownership. They are without a doubt some the nicest, kindest, genuine, service-oriented folks you'll meet...

Always a solid bet. Nice beer selection, good food. The staff is friendly and helpful. We came in looking for a table on a crowded day and they literally put a new one down. The crowd is chill, mixed and has no traces of the the typical lakeview bros. Great vibes all around.
