Matilda was born in 1994, with the goal of creating a space for good food, drinks, and great company. After long days of building the bar, the original owner found inspiration from the movie The Professional. On one of those final days, he swears he saw a ghost resembling a young Natalie Portman in the corner of the room. This moment led to the name Matilda, and the rest, as they say, is history. We've been serving the community with pride ever since!
